Our story
HanSaree Imports was born from a simple belief: that Korea deserves access to India's greatest textile traditions, made by the hands that have perfected them over generations. We work directly with weavers and artisans across India, cutting out middlemen and building real partnerships. Every piece that arrives in Korea carries the skill, care, and authenticity of its maker.
Where our textiles come from
We source from India's most celebrated weaving and textile regions, each with centuries of craft heritage. Every region brings its own expertise, tradition, and unmistakable character to the work.
Varanasi
Banarasi silk weaving — shimmering, intricate, sacred to Indian tradition.
Rajasthan
Hand block-printing from Bagru and Jaipur — where patterns are carved and dyed by hand into cloth.
Gujarat
Embroidery work with detailed threadwork and mirror inlay, each stitch placed with precision.
Kerala
Handloom cotton weaving — clean lines, natural fibres, breathable and built to last.
What we stand for
Our commitment goes beyond beautiful cloth. We believe in fair dealing with every artisan, in preserving traditional techniques that might otherwise fade, and in choosing quality and intention over volume.
Fair dealing
We build lasting partnerships with the weavers and artisans who make our textiles, ensuring they are valued and fairly compensated for their craft.
Authenticity
No shortcuts, no mass production shortcuts. Every piece is made using traditional techniques that have been refined over generations.
Sustainable by nature
Small-batch production, natural fibres, and a focus on longevity mean our textiles age beautifully and burden the earth lightly.
